By leaving the vehicle with Auto Gallery, I hereby confirm the following:
All personal items have been removed from your vehicle. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal items which may have been left in the vehicle. We will attempt to look after any such items but cannot guarantee their safekeeping.
The vehicle check-in inspection is completed by hand by a staff member of Auto Gallery. Should you wish to accompany our staff member with this check-in process, please allow 15 minutes and request a copy of the final inspection form for your records. Should any scratches, dents or damages be found on the vehicle when collected, this inspection sheet will be called for as proof of condition prior to repairs whether you accompanied our check-in staff or not.
Important Notice: Vehicles are parked safely overnight and are not used for anything other than to complete your collision repair. The onus is on you as the vehicle’s owner to have your vehicle insured. We will take due diligence as an automotive repairer to safeguard your vehicle against any damage, but should the vehicle require any offsite work e.g., wheel alignment, window tinting, agent report, etc, this will require the vehicle to be driven by one of our employees where all public road risk will fall out of our insurance policies and on to you or your insurance company. The vehicle will not be covered by Auto Gallery’s insurance whilst on public roads until it is back on our property.
Popi Act Declaration
Dear Client,
You hereby declare and confirm that you, as the person/entity/body/individual/company whose is confirming information supplied and hereinafter collectively referred to as the “client”, do hereby irrevocably agree and understand that any/all information supplied or given to the service provider, is done so in terms of the below terms and conditions and in terms of this agreement and consent declaration.
Auto Gallery (Pty) Ltd has a legal duty to get permission to use the Personal Information (PI), and is required for a contractual purpose to arrange for convenient booking of your accident damaged vehicle for authorized repair and/or is required for the purpose of providing update as to progress on completion of the adjudicated repair.
Further hereto we are required to transmit your contact information to Lightstone Consumer under contracted Service Level Agreement with the motor manufacturer to confirm a customer satisfaction index on how service provision was conducted during the repair and satisfaction of the restoration to the position before the accident.
In summary we will retain this PI as required to validate the warranty in the event of a claim but assure the owner that this will be protected from access and not shared/sold for illicit marketing purposes.
